It’s been a big year at Mercy Children — and we ended it the way every good year should end: with ice cream, music, and a lot of laughter.

Gelato in Blantyre

We took the kids on a special trip to Gelato in the city of Blantyre. For many of them, it was their first taste of proper ice cream. The faces said everything.

A Christmas Party

We also organised a full Christmas party at the centre — with games, music, food, and all kinds of activities. For children who often have very little, days like this mean everything.

None of this would have been possible without the kindness of the well-wishers who walked with us through 2017. You fed these children. You clothed them. You taught them. And on this day, you helped us celebrate them.
