His name is Miracle Chirwa. He’s four years old. And he lives up to his name.

Miracle was born with a condition affecting his brain, and he had surgery as an infant. Today, he cannot walk, talk, or eat on his own. He lives with his grandparents, who care for him with everything they have.

When his grandmother wanted Miracle to play and learn with other children, she took him to a local children’s centre. The director turned her away. “We don’t have anyone trained to care for him,” she was told.

So she brought him to us. And we welcomed him with open arms.

What Miracle needs

• A corner-set supportive chair so he can sit upright and participate in class
• A wheelchair so his grandmother doesn’t have to carry him everywhere

These items will transform his daily life. They’ll give him independence, dignity, and the chance to be included.
