I’ve just returned from visiting our widows’ goat groups, and I have to tell you — the trip was nothing short of a blessing.
The women are singing. Literally singing. Songs of joy about the difference a small herd of goats has made in their homes.
The numbers
- 150 widows in our community waiting for a chance
- 50 widows so far have received goats
- 100 widows still on the waiting list
Every group of 10 women we reach means another 10 families with milk, meat, income, and possibility.
