Welcoming place that engages each child.
Mercy Children Center (MCC) was established in May 2011. MCC is a non-profitable organization registered by the government of Malawi under the Social Welfare and City Assembly. It is located at Makata, Somanje Village in Ndirande, Blantyre.
After seeing that there was a great number of kids who were just sitting home idle, Mr. Simon Nkhambala the founder and director of this center thought it quietly that it could be a good idea to open a center where these children may come and learn two or three things instead of just staying at home.
The name Montessori means teaching children basically through learning materials.
